Praise God that Dwight and Maria have finished fundraising, but you can still donate. Here is the link to Maria's page and to Dwight's page.

God has loaned us a beautiful child called Christiana and He has decided to take her back home with Him. Christiana joined the Lord on Wednesday, December 14th. Her little body fought as hard as it could but it could no longer keep up after some unexpected complications. God wanted her with Him during His season, Christmas. Christiana was the special child He chose. We prayed for the miracle of healing but God decided to heal her in heaven instead. When we pray for God's will to be done, we must understand that His will is not always our desire. We have to be strong enough to accept it and understand that His plans are always good for us. Her mission here is done. She was sent here to share His love with others (in her school, the soccer field, the basketball courts, her neighborhood, her church and in the hospital with the doctors and nurses).

Purpose

The purpose of this website is to bring people to the Lord, to bring other families together, to spread awareness of the disease and illnesses that Christiana had, and to raise funds to find a cure for Juvenile Dermatomyositis.

Also Touch

We have titled this website "Also Touch," a tribute to the last words found in Christiana's diary written when she became aware of her condition. In the middle of a prayer, Christiana stopped mid-sentence, showing us that her generous heart was thinking of others even in her time of pain. We now know that in the midst of all of her hardships and trials, she still wanted God to "also touch" everyone.

Pictured above is the marker found at Christiana's gravesite. If you ever want to visit Christiana's grave, it is located in the "Garden of Love" at the Los Gatos Memorial Park:
